Teletherapy
Teletherapy is a great option for clients who prefer alternatives to traditional forms of face-to-face therapy.
Joining a Teletherapy Session
If you have a scheduled teletherapy session and are ready to join, please click here to be added to my virtual waiting room. If you need assistance or would like to schedule an appointment, please contact one of the care coordinators at Martin Counseling, PLLC.
Please note the following:
- These sessions are intended to be private and confidential – please do not record audio or video from your session, and do not use screen capture software.
- Only the individuals scheduled for the session should be present.
- To help prevent technical difficulties, use the most up-to-date version of a compatible web browser and connect directly to the Internet with an ethernet cable. Otherwise it is recommended that you use a strong, secure WiFi signal.
- Use headphones for the best sound performance and for privacy.
- Enter your full name on the join screen to help ensure identity verification.
My Teletherapy Setting
Teletherapy is a professional service – your privacy and confidentiality is of utmost concern. I am located in a secure and private room during our teletherapy sessions, and unless otherwise indicated (joint therapy, etc.) I am the only person in the physical room and the only one in the virtual call. I also use headphones so there is no external audio and the screen cannot be viewed by anyone else on the premises. I keep all software on my devices updated and secure, and use a HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform for all our sessions.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
